Oasis Cafe, Tees Barrage is our onsite caterer located on the top floor of the main building with stunning views looking over the River Tees and Air Trail. It serves a wide range of refreshments including hot meals, light bites, delicious cakes and hot drinks.

We offer both indoor and outdoor seating with a ‘dog friendly’ balcony.

The Tees Barrage International White Water Centre originally opened in 1995. It is an artificial whitewater course situated on the north bank of the River Tees, in North East England. It was purpose built as part of the £50 million Tees Barrage Project. After successfully running for 15 years, the decision was made to upgrade the existing course to increase opportunities for participation in paddle sports, as well as to attract visiting Olympic and World Class Teams to the venue. It was also identified that the upgrade would ensure a sustainable future for the course and provide adventurous activities for people of all ages and abilities.
